The aim of the conference was the modernization and innovative development of agriculture and water management, hydropower and construction, the preservation of the continuity of scientific schools in these industries, the development of a new level of training approaches for professional cadres and international cooperation, as well as the implementation of the scientific and educational interests of researchers, experts, academics and teachers. There were many participants including the Ministry of Water Resources and the Forestry Committee.  

During the conference, VEGERA project members took part in the conference, giving online presentations on various project-related topics. Among the presenters, Prof. Dr. Martin Welp (HNEE) talked about “The role of regenerative materials in sustainability”, Devashree Nayak (CIFOR-ICRAF) "Agroforestry based Wood Processing Industry - A case from India", Bonu Azizova (HNEE) “Traditional Water Management Systems and Sustainable Urban Civilization in Drylands”, and Dilfuza Yuldasheva (HNEE) “Modern trends in organization of educational activities transformation of the building sector”. This was an important platform for the project members to share information about the project with the important stakeholders in the implementation country.
